If ever I was to have a golden opportunity to host a dinner date for four people that I find insanely inspiring and are LEADERS that are looked upon and held in such high regard; these are the four people I would be honoured to invite and host:
1. The 14th Dalai Lama:
The head monk of Tibetan Buddhism and a stickler for everything forgiveness, tolerance, justice, compassion, personal peace and discipline. To me he is an influencer and a world leader and carries himself in a way I’d see me carrying myself. I am particularly drawn to the current Dalai Lama – Lhamo Thondup – a 63 year old that resides in India; of Chinese descent.

2. Winnie Byanyima:
Winnie is Ugandan. She is strong, a go-getter, an achiever, a mother, a wife, a career woman, a LEADER. I would vote her a hundred times over as the president of my beautiful country Uganda because every muscle in me believes she would take this country to great places. She wears shoes I see myself wearing one day.

3. Billy Graham:
Unfortunately Billy Graham died in 2018; which means my dinner would have to have happened then. As a strong believer in Christ, Billy Graham was one of those strong and charismatic evangelist figures. His was a simplistic way of preaching the gospel of Christ.

“We are the Bible the World is reading; We are the Creeds the World is needing; We are the Sermons the World is Heeding” Billy Graham
4. Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka:
I have had the honour and privilege of spending a day with this leading lady in the world of wildlife conservation. She has dedicated her life to ensuring effective co-existence of animals (endangered gorillas, wildlife etc) with humans. I am an environment and wildlife enthusiast and Dr. Gladys speaks to my life and the passions that come with these.

In my head, I have so many things we would discuss and questions I would ask. I know what I would cook and serve to these great guests of mine. I know this dinner would change my world altogether as these great persons inspire the different virtues I stand for in life.
